Discovering a complex problem and framing it into something simple and more understandable is the foundation of my design process. Whether the project calls for innovating within constraints, I always aim to apply a human-centered design approach that involves iterative sprints to pitch and deliver solutions that positively impact our users’ lives while keeping business goals top-in-mind.

My Rose, Thorn, Bud reflection on my 3+ years working in Manulife
Due to confidentiality reasons, I am not authorized to showcase the projects I did in Manulife. So, I decided to reflect on my 3+ years of experience as a UX (Human-centered Design) Specialist working in the company. I used the Rose, Thorn, Bud method that was acquired from my LUMA training as it helped me summarize the 5 key learnings essential for my career growth.
InvestWiz Digital Platform
A digital financial platform primarily designed for children to manage their investments shared and supervised by parents and/or legal guardians.
Role
Responsible for the research, business requirements definition, content management, interaction and UI/visual designs of the prototype.
Goal
To provide a seamless and engaging experience to encourage children to budget wisely, reach their financial goals and educate them about the principles of money.
EasySPEAK mobile app
A mobile app that enables Toastmasters club members to engage in public speaking and leadership roles.
Role
Responsible for the research, ideation, design experience, interaction and UI/visual designs of the prototype.
Goal
To provide an intuitive user experience optimized for mobile devices for which users can access this platform anytime and anywhere.
